These blank shapes are cut from 3mm transparent acrylic/perspex, suitable for glass mosaic and glass painting.
Using the small drilled hole, hang it from a branch in the garden, or a veranda or fix to an interior window using clear double-sided tape. The small square can be used as a sun-catcher or simply mosaic over the small hole to make a coaster.
12 shapes to choose from including - Birds, Hearts, Rainbows, Bunting Flags, Stars, Rounds, Coasters, and Panels.
They are suitable for both indoor and garden display.
Each side is covered in protective film, blue or frosted, to prevent it from becoming scratched. Remove the film from the side on which you are going to place your design leaving the other in place. I will often use this reverse side to draw an outline to follow then remove it when complete.
Once your mosaic is complete, grouted and cleaned, remove the film from the back. Gentry smooth the edges of the glass using a coarse emery board, whetstone or grinding pad to remove any sharp edges
Silicone adhesive not recommended for this, use a clear waterproof glue.
