This is soft leather and designed to be lightweight and slim fitting to the Field Notes notebook. The leather will become more pliable over time with regular use and wear.
Also fits standard passport
Internal pockets for 2 cards/ID/ work badge, and additional small storage

The colors and shades of some leathers are subject to change, even on the same hide. This is natural, and they call it a marble effect. Leather can change colors as it ages, so be sure to expect that.

I bought this Field Notes handmade leather book cover on a whim. I didn't need it and was just perusing etsy, but I love all things handmade leather and this one simply looked charming. I could not be happier with the notebook. The leather is beautiful, the stitching enhances the piece and it came very quickly.
