Wonderful vase made at the Pine Ridge Indian Crafts school on the Lakota Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. In particular, Pine Ridge Pottery operated on the Pine Ridge Reservation between 1937 and 1983. This vase is signed "E. Irving" for Ella Irving. Ella and her sister Olive Cottier threw the clay, and a third sister, Bernice Talbot glazed and decorated the pieces. Ella Irving's pieces can be found in the Smithsonian Institute.

Piece measures 5 1/4" diameter x 5 1/4" high. It weighs just over 1 lb. 10 oz. It is in excellent condition, no chip, no cracks (some light crazing in cream glaze, in an even manner throughout). Retains original sticker. Wonderful collector's piece.
