Do you like to have salt at the ready when cooking? If so, then this is the piece for you! This salt pig and accompanying hand-carved wooden spoon would make a great addition to any kitchen. Check out the awesome flashed and orange peeled surface -- a true testament to the soda firing process.

The hand-made spoon was lovingly crafted specifically for this project by Etsy seller Blisscraft & Brazen!! Check 'em out:

Dimensions: 3.75" x 3.5" (w x h)

Process: This cellar was created on the potter's wheel using a light stoneware body. After being glazed, the piece was then high fired in an atmospheric soda kiln to 2300 degrees (cone 9-10). The soda atmosphere causes the bare clay to blush, orange peel, and/or became glassy. When a glaze is used on a piece, oftentimes it will melt and run.

Interior Glaze: Temmoku

***This piece is Food, Microwave, and Dishwasher safe***
