“Les Fastes de la Grande Bretagne” Vol. 1. Published by J.P. Costard in Paris, France. Published in 1769.

A beautiful full leather 18th century book from 1769 with intricate gold detailing on the spine. The title translates to “The Glories of Great Britain” The book covers the history of England, Scotland, and Ireland from the start of the English Monarchy to the peace of 1763, with chronological tables.

Lastly, “Ave Approbation & Privilege du Roi” translated means “With the Approval and Privilege of the King” because this book was published in 1769, years before the French Revolution! This book is truly unique and rare!

The book is in good condition. Binding and pages are intact. Pages are fairly clean. The cover has some wear from use due to age. Please see pictures to make sure you like the condition!
