This hand carved and painted wall sculpture is an item available by order.

The exposed wood grain is symmetrical on wings, body and tail. This, combined with pigment mimics plumage patterns. I have spent years of experimentation to achieve this result. The grain on this photo is more subtle to reflect a Barn Owl. I can make it more pronounced, or do a different species with roughly the same dimensions.

I forge the talons out of steel

This sculpture is..

- Wall mounted by a steel bracket.

- Carved out of Spruce or Hemlock or Fir

- The size is 48 " W x 20" H x 5"-7 D ( not including the bracket ) The variation in size is due mainly to gestural variation ( like how far back the wings are swept back)

- Glass eyes

This owl is beautiful. The craftsmanship, the quality and the detail is stunning. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. My wife was in tears when she saw it. This was the best present I have ever given her and worth every penny. Thank you Jason !!!
