Nice mug made to commemorate the coronationof King George V and his wife Queen Mary on June 22nd 1911.

The picture on the front has a picture of them both in oval frames with flags of the nations around them. On the back it has the coat of arms (three fish in a shield) for Kingston Upon Thames, making this a rare piece made especially for the people of that area to commemorate them coming to the throne.

The miug is 3 1/4" high x 3" round. It does have a chip to the rim but this is not really nooticeable when displayed and there is crazing to the glaze especially near the handle.

I love using these, I use these all over the house as pen holders and also in the bathroom as a toothbrush holder.
