This is my way of saying the item was made from thrifted or secondhand material. I do wash everything that I use for material with a fragrance free, hypoallergenic detergent.

As a brand-new sewer, I found this pattern fun to make and the instructions easy to follow. As other reviewers have mentioned, the pattern piece for the midi skirt back says to cut 2 pieces on the fold, but you want to either do that and cute up the middle to get 2 mirrored pieces or cut 2 not on the fold. Otherwise, so happy with this pattern!

The convenience of purchasing digital patterns is so great! Thanks for making this easy-to-sew pattern available for purchase. As I read through the pattern details these are the things I know I will love...there are directions for sewing the skirt with the slit set on either side of the skirt, the skirt can be sewn in either of two lengths, and the photos of the sewing steps help make following the directions even easier. Thanks for a great purchase!

I tried making this pattern, but it didn’t work out for me at the end. It would really help if you had a serger sewing machine instead of using a regular sewing machine but I don’t have one.

When you print the pages at 100%, 8.5x11 paper is not quite large enough and the pattern pieces are printed off the edge of the paper. Also, if you cut the back pieces on a fold, be sure to cut them apart on the fold. Otherwise you could just cut 2 of fabric not on a fold. Finally, the mini skirt front pieces are messed up. One of those pieces should be flipped vertically so that the text is on the opposite side of the piece. This way, when following the directions to choose a side for the split, the pieces will line up. Right now, they don't line up if you cut them according to the directions for split side.
