This listing is for one bar of handmade soap. I call this scent Summer of '99. The dominant notes are orange and patchouli. It is rich and spicy, and brings to mind summer music festivals outdoors under wide blue skies.

I make my soaps by hand in my home kitchen, 15 bars at a time. Each bar weighs about 4oz and is approximately 3" x 2 1/2" x 1". Because these soaps are handmade and hand cut, some variation will be present.

This soap is made from a blend of olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, jojoba oil, cocoa butter and shea butter; beeswax; and sodium hydroxide. It is silky smooth and moisturizing, and wonderful for very dry skin. I have been making soap for twelve years now and have found these bars to be very soothing for a variety of skin issues, especially in the dry cold of winter.

About my soap: I have been working in the cold-process method since I first started making soap in my kitchen in 2000. Over the years, I have enjoyed working with the formulas to produce bars with a beautiful silky texture, which feel wonderful on the hands and the skin. Each bar is made with some combination of vegetable oils, essential oils, shea butter, cocoa butter, and beeswax. For a scrubby bar, ground oatmeal adds texture. Herbs occasionally add color, but I also enjoy the simplicity of a bar that is colored only by the various oils that make it up. I also enjoy the process of blending essential oils to scent the bars. Most of the bars are named for scent memories, and I hope that the scents will be as evocative for you as they are for me. While my process has changed over the years, I still make soap in very small batches of 15 bars each in my home kitchen. If you have any questions about the process or the soaps, please don't hesitate to ask... I love this soap and love sharing information about it!

A note about shipping: I am new to selling and shipping soap, so shipping costs are an estimate. All excess shipping will be promptly refunded through Paypal.
