"Twisted Alice" is the title of this one-of-a-kind upcycled mixed media art piece inspired by the whimsical classic tale "Alice in Wonderland" by author Lewis Carroll. Curiouser and curiouser, Alice slips deeper into the peculiar world of wonderland and now her mind has been twisted like the Mad Hatter! The March Hare is shown taking an afternoon stroll with his fancy umbrella and tailcoat, tea cups and the Mad Hatter are floating through the sky, and Alice is wearing the Mad Hatter's top hat during the fanciful tea party! Cascading tiles with images of Alice's experiences in wonderland are scattered across this intriguingly eye-catching art piece made out of recycled materials! The Queen of Hearts is seen with a two-headed playing card of the "queen of hearts", and the King is shown with a painted red rose over his face. Lastly, there is an image of a young Alice in her blue and white pinafore dress, she is holding a young March Hare as she sits on a big yellow smiling crescent moon.

This spectacular piece can hold an array of desired items such as tea, candies, and sentimental items...and most definitely some "eat me" treats! In these pictures, the shine on the canister is from the glossy Mod Podge finish. I applied two coats of Mod Podge to this canister so the images are protected, yet you can still feel the fun texture of the freckles!

The eco-friendly recycled materials used are: a tin/canister and magazine clippings. This upcycled art piece measures 2 1/4" wide and 5 3/4" tall. The interior of this tin is painted a shiny, dark green.
