I don’t usually review patterns prior to making the item, but I’m going to make an exception on this one. The amount of work that went into designing and organizing this pattern is incredible. The designer made stitch tutorial videos for both right and left handed people, plus diagrams, photos, two different sets of written instructions (one simplified, and one longhand), a spreadsheet to keep track of used/unused loops for short rows, and a section on how to plan for color changes that take into account solid colors and gradient cakes. It’s a beautiful design and a user-friendly pattern that goes above and beyond. Well worth the price point. I’ll add a photo when I’ve finished mine. Thank you!

I enjoyed making this. The pattern was easy to follow, and I love how it is worked all in one piece. There were also a lot of helpful photos. My only problem is figuring out the proper way to fold it up so the end pieces line up the way they are supposed to in order to sew them together correctly. I watched the video, and it looked so simple, but it was done too quickly for me to follow, and mine was difficult to figure out. A couple of pictures showing that for the end would be very helpful. All in all, it is a great pattern.
