Sometimes a dress comes in that just makes me gasp at its beauty. This is certainly one of them. I love a full-on Watteau train. I think they make a bride look regal and elegant. This one starts at the neckline with no seams to break the flow. To achieve that effect, this dress has a secret. Inside the bodice, there is a concealed, zippered back. Over this is the back/train of the dress that is closed with a concealed hook and eye.

The long sleeves come to a point and there are several buttons on the wrists. The dress feels and looks like silk, though I could not find an fabric to test. Knowing the quality of William Cahill gowns, silk is a good bet for the outside fabric. The dress is completely lined, making it feel heavy and gives it great drape.

Beautiful lace accents the empire bodice and the bottom of the dress, and around the hem of the train.

Small size, 34" bust, 15" from shoulder to shoulder.

The model is a size 4 and it was tight on her. She is 5'6" and wearing 1" heels and it is an appropriate length.

Some slightly yellowed buttons, but no other flaws found. The gown has been rinsed, but will need to be professionally cleaned before the wedding.
