This is a Hikidashi-Guro glazed tea bowl that I fired but I could not reach with my Raku tongs to remove it from the kiln while the kiln was still at high temperature. Therefore, the glaze got fired hotter than it should have and ran to the foot-ring. The drip was ground down and sanded smooth. I made the glaze by collecting and burning pine needles to get their ashes and mixed their ashes with iron oxide to make a beautiful black to burgundy glaze that is food safe and dishwasher safe.

Approx 3.5" tall x 5" wide

Hikidashi-Guro Chawan
