This series is made of repurposed scenic latex paint skins (peeled paint), gold/silver leaf and bamboo paper mounted on heavy white paper: Pre-Covid, I worked professionally as a scenic artist, painting sets for Philadelphia-area opera, theatre, ballet and television productions. These "paint skins," as well as the bamboo paper they are constructed on, are literal remnants from various theatrical productions.
