Arcopal Soup Bowls from France Veronica

These beautiful soup bowls from Arcopal of France are delicate looking but are made from a strong white glass very resistant to breakage. The edges are scalloped with a beautiful blue flower pattern decorating the borders as well as the inner portion of the bowl. The listing is for four bowls in the Veronica pattern. Each bowl measures 9 inches in diameter and is about 1 inch deep.

I also have some teacups in this pattern listed here:

Here is some history of the company:
Arcopal was one of the famous brands of the french manufacturer Verrerie Cristallerie d'Arques (which is now Arc International). Created in 1958, this brand presented dinnerware made in white opal tempered glass with a fire glazed finish. The process ensured that Arcopal goods were highly resistant to heat pressure and breakage.
Unfortunately, the production is now discontinued.

These are extremely nice bowls which are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, crazing or cracks. Great gift!
