Beautiful mid century scarf in powder blue, white and gold colors with Colonial woman and man Courting print, late 1940s to very very early 1950s vintage.

no rips, tears, fraying, nor holes. Held to light and carefully inspected - AMAZING !!!

"Baar & Beards was a retail store established in New York City in 1941 by Sylvan M. Baar and Milton Beards. It specialized in women's neck wear, including scarves and collar necklaces. In the 1940s and '50s, when "Your Hit Parade" was a popular radio and TV show, Baar & Beards started selling scarves with pop-music themes."

I love the style but they keep falling off my ears because the spring is weak. I'm afraid to wear them because I don't want to lose one. Therefore, not so happy with them.

I don't catch everything all the time on antique and vintage items but I try and am honest in my Descriptions. Money is hard earned and when folks spend theirs in my Store I feel honored. On ETSY all you have to do is email a Seller, hopefully all of us, are more than happy to make things correct.
