Labels are printed on 100% cotton, 240 thread count.
Colorfast, washable and UV resistant.
High quality pigment based inks.

The labels are fray-resistant, but are not considered fray-proof. Our labels do not fray easily.
You can use a product like "Fray Check" or "Fray Block" to seal the edges.


Lamination option for sew-on labels available, making the label fray proof. Please purchase separately.

Printed on cotton sheet size 8.5" x 11" ( 21.5 cm x 27.9 cm)
100% cotton. Fray-proof. Fusible backing.
Colorfast, washable and UV resistant.
High quality pigment based inks.

Cut your labels following the cut marks and guides.
Use a rotary cutter and ruler or scissors.
Or if you prefer, a paper cutter/trimmer.
Please ensure you leave the paper backing on when cutting.
Easily peel off the paper backing when you are ready to use
your label.

Pre-heat iron to medium/hot, no steam.
Position image face-up on project. Press for approx. 10 - 15
seconds. Ensure all areas and edges are thoroughly fused.
Use iron-safe fabrics and yarns. Testing first is recommended.
Allow to cool down completely to finish the fusing process.
Please do not lift sides to check.
Iron-On labels can be machine and hand-sewn after adhering,
but it is not required.

The iron on labels are versatile but not suitable for all fabrics. It works best on medium to heavy weight fabrics like broadcloth, pure cotton or poly-cotton blend, fleece, muslin. However, it may not adhere as strongly to lightweight, delicate fabrics, or those with a raised weave, pile, or coating. It's always recommended to pre-test on a fabric scrap to ensure a good bond.

The iron on label also works on foil, lame, cardboard, and wood.

General Recommendations:
Prewash all materials: This removes any chemicals that might interfere with the bonding process.
It generally doesn't work well on fabrics treated with fabric softener, as the chemicals can interfere with the bonding process.
Pretest: Always test the adhesive on a fabric scrap before starting your project.
Iron on medium to hot heat: Avoid using steam and apply firm pressure for 10 - 15 seconds.

Please do not overheat:
Overheating the label can cause it to appear dark and glossy, and the adhesive can seep through the fabric. Overheat may melt the adhesive into the fabric and cause an insufficient bond between the material and the adhesive. Please follow the instructions for proper adhesion. Slightly longer pressing times may be required for thick or heavy materials.

The iron on labels are machine washable, but its effectiveness can diminish with repeated washing. While it can withstand many multiple washes, it's not recommended for items requiring dry cleaning or subjected to high levels of washes, stress and heat. For best results, use the delicate cycle and warm water when washing your items.

Recommended Practices: Use the delicate cycle and warm water to maximize the life of the bond.

Stiffness: The iron on label can initially make fabric stiff, but this stiffness may lessen after washing.

LAUNDRY INFORMATION

Our labels are created with high quality pigment inks.
The labels are colorfast and bleed resistant.

It is possible to have a slight ink release due to unattached pigment inks. This will only happen once during the
first wash. This possible ink release will be minimum.


Machine wash warm or cold * Tumble dry low or air dry
Pigment inks on fabrics are generally designed to be highly fade-resistant and long-lasting. They are more durable than dye-based inks, especially when exposed to sunlight or repeated washing. However, even pigment inks can fade over time, particularly if not properly handled or when washed repeatedly on higher heat.
