Sustainable ruffled tote / upcycled from thrifted curtains / repurposed materials / handmade shopping bag

Sustainably made out of a thrifted curtain. This material is very sturdy which makes the bag very elegant and chic. The fabric is an off-white color with small light-yellow diamonds. The ruffles on the side of the bag will definitely add a touch of glamour to your outfit and will make you stand out in the crowd. It's perfect for casual wear, but will also be a fun touch to a more formal outfit.

The bag can fit a laptop, multiple (note)books or any other nick-nacks you may bring along to grabbing a coffee with friends. Beside the main compartment, the bag has two pockets on the front which are perfect for items like sunglasses, make-up or a small journal. The double stitching on the inside makes this bag very sturdy.

I LOVE sourcing sustainable materials! I made the concious choice to make all of my products from 100% preloved/thrifted/donated/recycled materials, from fabric to zippers to the hangtags. Buying this tote-bag could be considered a sustainable choice.

Main pouch: thrifted curtains
Thread: second-hand, polyester

The ruffles are approx. 4cm wide all around. The measurements of the main compartment are 38x34cm. I also have one that is a tad bit smaller because I ran out of curtain: 36x34cm.
