This is a pattern for an Aran cabled scarf . (It differs from the Alpine Cable Scarf that is also listed in this section.) It is the more familiar type of cabling, and comes to us from Ireland. This particular cable is a fairly wide one, making it the perfect one for a scarf. Although it is a worsted weight the turtleneck section will keep you warm without a lot of excess bulkiness.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting, purling and cabling)

This pattern was expertly tested by Lori Veteto who can be contacted at:
hooknneedler [!at] cimtel.net

This pattern is both charted and written out line by line.

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted in colorway, Avondale.

This is a listing for a pattern and not for the final product. It will be sent to the email address associated with your paypal account (or the one you supplied to Etsy) within 24 hours of when payment is received (or sooner, if I'm at my computer) in pdf format. If you would like it sent to a different email address, please include that in the note section when you check out.

Email support is happily provided.

Thanks for stopping by.
