This is a fantasic design that combines piecing, applique and embellishment. The size is perfect for a young child's bed or an adult's lap. It will satisfy the sweet tooth of any quilter. "Trick" out the color scheme with Orange, purple and black and it will be real "treat" to make this a Halloween quilt.

Fabric Requirements:
2 1/4 yd – Fabric A – Background in piecing and appliqué – White in Sample
¼ yd each of 3 – Fabric B – Pieced “candy” – Pink, Blue and Green in sample
¼ yd each of 3 – Fabric C – Large circle of appliqué – Pink, Blue and Green in sample
¾ yd each of 3 – Fabric D – Small circle of appliqué – Pink, Blue and Green in sample
½ yd – Fabric E – Inner border and Corner squares – Pink in sample
1 1/8 yd – Fabric F – Outer border – White print in sample
2 ½ yd – Fusible Interfacing – optional
15 – 1 ½” decorative buttons - optional

Approximate size: 53" x 61"

Pattern includes instructions for fusible-interfacing applique for the circles. However, you may use your preferred method of applique to complete this quilt.

Overall this was a great quilt pattern. I found a few measurement errors in the directions, but nothing major I couldn't fix. This was my first time to ever make a quilt. It was easy enough for me to understand, and I think it turned out fairly nice. Thanks so much!
