Exquisite and striking bridal headpiece from the 1940s, this is a wire mesh crown in the pointed "kokoshnik" style of traditional Russian princesses - a trend of the decade. The ivory frame is covered in cream colored, embroidered lace, satin cutouts, and beaded trim. There is a brown elastic strap that holds it in place (hidden under the bride's hair). It is in excellent condition, though the interior perimeter shows signs of wear a tulle veil must have once been connected.
A truly royal look!

Size is flexible since it conforms to the head. Height: 3 1/2"
