I am a beginner crocheter and this patter was easy to follow. I love the texture of the hat and I was able to crochet it fairly quickly for a beginner. The video is a great help since I am still trying to understand written crochet instructions.

Can't wait to crochet this hat. I just learned the alpine stitch from Toni Lipsey of TLY and found this pattern. Plan to make Christmas gifts. Sirin's patterns are always a pleasure to crochet.
