Description

31 Pages. Patterns for ecclesiastical laces are often highly prized, and quite difficult to find. This assortment of beautiful patterns are the perfect tool to make these inspiring laces. All designs are fully charted and simple to follow. The first design is an altar lace with the rose and cross alternating border and the I.H.S. and dramatic cross in the center. The next design is large crosses in a scalloped border followed by an inset with circle designs with prominent I.H.S. and crosses alternating. The next design is the striking "Wide Altar Lace", with a large prominent cross, scalloped designs featuring smaller crosses and hearts. The next design is a border for altar lace with alternating crosses and sacred hearts with a border design of roses. The next design is a simple lace with alternating Christian cross and Greek Crosses, could be used for an altar or an alb. The next lace is reminiscent of old stained glass and features a design of lilies and crosses designed for Easter season. The next lace border features lambs and crosses with an elaborate grape vine, truly lovely. The next lace is a wide panel with an elaborate design with prominent "Ave Maria" design in the center. This is only half of the book - there are simple edgings and so much more to see. A real treasure trove for the faithful! REPRODUCTION
