Crocheted with soft cotton yarn, this simple baby bonnet can be worn everyday or for a special occasion such as a baptism or for Easter. This bonnet is made from a vintage pattern and is reminiscent of a hanky hat. Pictured are both pink and blue hats but other colors available and I will work with you if you'd like a color that I haven't listed. Default ribbon is single faced satin ribbon in ivory. Specify in the notes section if you would like a different color ribbon. The back of this bonnet is adjustable - tie the ribbon in the back as tight or as loose as needed and adjust as your baby grows!

SIZE
0-3 - front is 10 inches, 5.5 inches deep (25.5/14 cm)
3-6 - front is 11 inches, 6 inches deep (28/15 cm)
6-12 - front is 12 inches, 7 inches deep (30.5/18 cm)
Toddler - front is 14 inches, 8 inches deep (35.5/20 cm)

This pattern is easy to adjust for different sizes. If you need a bigger or a smaller size, measure from the bottom of the ear, over the head to the bottom of the other ear and from the crown on the head to baby's forehead.

Bonnet is made of baby (and washing machine) friendly 60% Pima Cotton, 40% Modal. Satin ribbon secures bonnet on baby.

Pictured in blue is the button flap booties that coordinate well with this bonnet. https://www.etsy.com/listing/200883849/crochet-button-flap-ankle-booties-for

CARE
Remove unsecured ribbons and wash separately. Wash with like colors, lay flat to dry or tumble dry low. Medium iron if wanted.

MADE TO ORDER - Please refer to processing times for approximate ship date. Shipping notification and tracking will be added to your Etsy transaction page. The nature of handmade is that no two are exactly alike. I follow the same pattern for each but they do come out a little different each time.

Crocheting projects come with me everywhere (one reason I love my job). My home is pet free and smoke free but the rest of the world isn't. Projects often come to swimming, dance or soccer practice or hang out on my deck with me. I try to protect them as much as possible.

I am registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia to collect retail sales tax on purchase made within the commonwealth. I charge the required 5.3% only to those buyers located within Virginia.
No, I am located in the US.

I try hard to provide accurate sizing in each listing. Most of my items are for babies and small children. I provide sizes in months and measurements in inches and cm. If you have additional questions about the size of an item, please contact me.
Bows and hair ribbons should be handwashed and dried flat.

Bags and wraps can be washed with like colors and hung dry. The lining material is not heat tolerant and will not hold up well to the dryer even on low.

Crochet and knit items have instructions for care based on the yarn used to create them. If in doubt, remove any unsecured ribbons to wash separately, handwash and lay flat to dry although most items can be machine washed in cold. I don't recommend tumble drying most of my items because they lose their shaping and sizing more easily and pill more easily.
