Crochet Scarf Pattern

Crochet Pattern for a scarf with ruffle yarn edging. This pattern is for an easy scarf using Lion Homespun yarn and a ruffle yarn for the edge like Patons Pirouette or Boutique Sashay. I had a little of both of these left after designing my knit wrap pattern https://www.etsy.com/listing/118840043/knit-wrap-with-ruffle-yarn-edging-pdf using these 2 yarns so I decided to make a crochet scarf with them.

This pattern is 4 pages long including 2 photos. You need approx. 1/2 skein of the Lion Homespun yarn and 1/2 skein of the ruffle yarn. The scarf is crocheted using a size US K hook or 6.5mm. A great way to use up some leftover Homespun if you have any. You could also use other yarns that are bulky and use a K hook. I just really like the softness and warmth of the Homespun and discovered how well some of them look with the new type of ruffle yarns.

The finished scarf is very long - 80in. long by 5 in. wide. **note: the ruffle part is 2 in. of the width. It looks very pretty double wrapped as in the first photo.

I gave this scarf to my Mom as a gift and she loves it - she tells me she gets lots of compliments whenever she wears it.
