I read a blog for people with vintage teardrop trailers and they covet these. I felt lucky to come across this one, still with it's paper label around the dome. It has all three of it's pieces, and it's original instruction/recipe booklet. It has a black bakelite knob on the top with "West Bend" etched in. It has a temperature gauge in the lid. There is a round rack for roasting potatoes on. The recipes inside look tasty, and include: apple pie, baked apples, tuna-noodle casserole, corn meal muffins and chocolate cupcakes. It is marked on the base piece: Ovenette (R), Product of West Bend Aluminum Co, West Bend Wis., USA, Patent No. 2, 599, 923, This Side Up.

I am not testing it out, because of the paper wrap. It makes me want to go camping though. it looks like it hasn't been used, because there is no food residue and of course the paper. There is light to moderate discoloration and wear to the aluminum. Probably from 60 or so years being pushed around in a cupboard. There is one dent to the side of the dome, about 2 inches long. It shows in the third photo, in about the 3 o'clock position. The base measures 10 inches across. It's about 8 inches high, including the lid.

I am happy to ship internationally. Please convo me with your location, and I will provide you with a shipping quote. Please check out my other listings at Classic Crow. Thanks.
