Official Girl Scout, Imperial Debonair, 620 film box camera comes with original flash unit
( a black body with Red controls and flash, a funny little cubist styled camera ! :)

****incldues 1- 5B bulb for display and 1-620 film spool

Camera Description;

The Imperial Debonair is an idiosyncratically-styled plastic camera for 620 film, made by Herbert George Co., Chicago around 1960.The Herbert George Company was also known for making its cameras in bright colours, and was one of the first companies to market colored ranges of plastic camera.

Debonair is a simple point and shoot box camera (with interesting styling—not the standard box!) , fitted with a fixed focus lens and one single shutter speed ( 1/30?).The shutter release is on the side with the winding knob located beside it. It has an eye-level viewfinder and a handy wrist strap rivited to the side of the camera's body.

It produces12- 6x6cm sqaure images onto 620 film.
**620 film is the same size as 120 film, but it has a metal spool with a thin core. you can rewind 120 film onto a 620 spool or 135 film onto 620 film spool to get pictures with sprocket holes in them :)

Camera Condition;

This camera is in great cosmetic condition for its age. ( made from the 60s) It has a few scratches here and there on the exterior. Front plate has a bit of grime on left hand side. On the bottom, there is some tape residue. but I don't see any cracks or chips on the plastic body, and inside looks clean. The shutter works fine, The film advance turns smoothly.The viewfinder is clear. The handle and knobs are in great shape. It has not been film tested but everything seems to work properly.An excellent addition to any collection of 1950s - '60s photo gear or novelty cameras:)

the flash unit has not been tested, but looked to be a good display piece!)
