"Scythe is a game of civilization and conquest set at the beginning of an alternative '900, after the end of the First World War in which the city-state Industry captured the attention of the whole of Europe thanks to the advanced technological means provided to the warring factions.

You will take on the role of one of the 5 factions of Eastern Europe, which around the Industry, will try to conquer the territory thanks to the use of their resources. Each of you will start with a different story, a secret objective and some resources characteristic of your faction. Thanks to them you will have to develop far and wide, exploring the neighboring lands and interacting with the villages and populations you will meet."

VERY impressed & pleased with this piece! The quality and detail is excellent, especially the 3-D sand dune ripples on the base (which complement the game's sand token style & color). I wondered if the peg might be too tight or too loose (requiring glue) to fit the tornado segment... but fit was perfect, and by lightly twisting/'screwing' during assemly, it fit completely and snugly. After ordering, it took about a month to arrive in the USA - Worth the Wait! Highly recommended for the game "Forbidden Desert".
