Description

Run, don't walk, to see the documentary "Won't You Be My Neighbor?", the movie about the career of Mr. Fred Rogers, the creator of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.

One of Fred's favorite quotes was from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery: "The essential is invisible to the eye." It was a quote he used in most of his speeches and lectures, and was a touchstone influence in his unique career in children's TV programming. (Check out the thumbnails for a photo of my calligraphic piece commissioned for Mr. Rogers many years ago, displayed in his home and the WQED studios, and now is in the archives at the Fred Rogers Center on the Saint Vincent College campus in Latrobe.)

Interesting fact... My college roommate truly lives in Mr. Rogers Neighborhood! His house in Latrobe is right across the alley from Fred's childhood home.

This card is letterpressed in A2 size (4.25"5.5") and is printed in a light smokey gray on soft and thick 110-lb. Cranes Lettra paper. A gray handmade lined envelope is included, prestamped with one of the new USPS forever Mr. Rogers stamps for mailing. The envelope liner is a random printed paper.
