Description

Create a colorful world!

These custom, personalized aprons are 100% cotton and are durable, washable and memorable.

Give these as a wonderful gift to a favorite cook, or order one to adorn one's own kitchen hooks.

Scan or take a photo of any image, note, handwritten memento, or even a photo and send using the Etsy messages. If using a photo, black and white images work best on this apron, but colors are always welcome too! Please be aware that white of any image will not print—the color of the apron will show through. Generally when a photo is sent, I will darken the image using photoshop so that it shows up nicely on this canvas-colored apron. Please feel free to ask if there are any questions about the process!

Wholesale pricing is always available.

The turnaround time is about one week from the time your order is placed until the time it ships.

TO ORDER:

1. Send a scan or photo of the recipe using the Etsy messaging system (Send Note to Seller on the left side of my shop), and specify if there is a preference for the size of the print on the apron. The printable area is usually about 8" wide. Therefore, the size of the print will depend on if the recipe is of horizontal or vertical orientation.

2. Check out using the green "Add to Cart" button on the left. Follow the directions to enter in your payment information using PayPal or credit card number.

REORDERS:
1. I keep all files under the name of the person it ships to, and a short description of the image (usually the first three words that are on the image). So when re-ordering, simply send a reminder of what words were at the top of the towels, and a proof will be sent to make sure it is the correct image.

2. Etsy does not allow anyone to see or keep payment/credit card info, so when re-ordering, it will be necessary to re-enter payment information.

Apron Poem:

The principal use of Grandma's apron was to protect the dress underneath, because she only had a few, it was easier to wash aprons than dresses and they used less material, but along with that, it served as a potholder for removing hot pans from the oven.
It was wonderful for drying children's tears, and on occasion was even used for cleaning out dirty ears…
From the chicken coop, the apron was used for carrying eggs, fussy chicks, and sometimes half-hatched eggs to be finished in the warming oven.
When company came, those aprons were ideal hiding places for shy kids.
And when the weather was cold grandma wrapped it around her arms.
Those big old aprons wiped many a perspiring brow, bent over the hot wood stove.
Chips and kindling wood were brought into the kitchen in that apron.
From the garden, it carried all sorts of vegetables.
After the peas had been shelled, it carried out the hulls.
In the fall, the apron was used to bring in apples that had fallen from the trees.
When unexpected company drove up the road, it was surprising how much furniture that old apron could dust in a matter of seconds.
When dinner was ready, Grandma walked out onto the porch, waved her apron, and the men-folk knew it was time to come in from the fields to dinner.
It will be a long time before someone invents something that will replace that 'old-time apron' that served so many purposes.
REMEMBER:

Grandma used to set her hot baked apple pies on the window sill to cool.
Her granddaughters set theirs on the window sill to thaw.
They would go crazy now trying to figure out how many germs were on that apron.
I never caught anything from an apron…But Love. (Author Unknown)
