Vintage Popular 1950s Mirro Aluminum Frosted Gold Color Sugar & Creamer. Black plastic handles, likely bakelite. Mirro's maker's mark trademark incised on the bottom reads "Mirro The Finest Aluminum Made in USA" -- (Made in Manitowoc, WI).

Aluminum is one of the Earth's most abundant elements and Mirro was at one time the largest manufacturer of aluminum cooking utensils. The company's roots trace back to 1885 in Wisconsin. Called the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company, they launched their flagship Mirro brand in 1917. With the brand's success, the firm changed its name in 1957 to the Mirro Aluminum Company. Sadly like so many American companies, Mirro was purchased (by Newell Companies in 1983) and later moved its manufacturing operations overseas (by 2003) with nothing left of the original company still in operation.

Sugar & creamer measure 2-3/4" high.

Fabulous vintage condition. A couple of random age related very small minor scratches, but doesn't even look used.

Ships to USA addresses only. Usually ships within 2 business days USPS.
