Weck made straight razors and other hair cutting products from late 1800 forward. This one was called the Hair Shaper and made in Brooklyn NY. It has a thumb lever that is pressed down to open the razor holder. onece it is open it locks in place until pushed the other way. With the original case, there also are the replacement bvlades. There are two boxes of blades, one has 2 in it the other full, with 5. Made of stainless steel, there is no rust or corrosion on the handle. I did not unwrap the blades, but they are still in the original cardboard wrappers, so I believe they are also corrosion free.
This is a perfect gift for a hair stylest who still uses straight razors. It would also be great in a vintage bathroom, (as long as it were child free) a wonderful conversation piece.

Case 8"x 2" x1"
closed 5" x .50"
open 7.25" x .50"

not to be intended for use other than hair styling. ATTENTION Contains sharp objects
Not to be used near children, please keep out of childrens reach. Please be cautious when using this product, seller not responsible for use after sale complete.
