This 1970s maxidress is clearly inspired by the 1960s Hippie Boho, with its peasant style bodice and folksy patchwork-quilt skirt. However, it was designed and made for a more mainstream client, who wanted wash and wear. The bodice has a scooped neck, with long raglan sleeves that are gathered at the wrist with elastic. The long swingy skirt has 13 gores. The dress has thread belt loops to accomodate a wide belt, but none came with the dress. The belt shown in some of the photos is for illustration and is not included with purchase.

SIZE: No size label
Bust: - 41" (104cm)
Waist: - 28" (71cm)
Hips: - 50" (127cm)
Bodice length from approximate shoulder: - 16" (40.5cm)
Skirt length: - 41" (104cm)
Sweep: - 170" (432cm)

FABRIC/COLORS: The bodice fabric is a soft lightweight jersey
knit in black. Based on a fiber burn test, probably acrylic. The skirt is cotton, with a novelty seersucker texture that look does not look like part of the weave. The print is faux patchwork stripes, in dark brown, orange and cream, with a bit of yellow and green.
