This vintage Skippy Peanut Butter pail or tin is huge. Made to look like the popular peanut butter container, this pail has such nostalgia.

All graphics are printed on and are not stickers. The front reads "Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter, Best Food Div. Corn Products Company Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632"

To the right of the front it reads: "No Oil Separation, Combine Skippy and Bosco. Gradually blend in milk. Beat until creamy and thickened. Makes about 3/4 cup sauce. This replica produced and distributed by two's company inc. Mount Vernon New York 10550."

To the left of the front it reads: "Stays Fresh Peanut Butter Sauce, 1/4 cup Skippy Peanut Butter 1/4 cup Bosco chocolate flavored syrup 3 tablespoons milk, "Skippy" name used under license from corn products company, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey 07632."

The lid reads: "SKIPPY CREAMY" and has a white oval that does not have a money slit for a bank.

This giant tin has a handle that swivels.

It measures 7 3/4" tall & 7 1/4" in diameter.

It is in fair condition. There is substantial rust on the inside, but it has not rusted through. There are many scratches, dents, scuffs, dents, and rust spots on the outside, lid, bottom, and handle.

This is such an iconic brand, especially in the US. This pail would make a really cute planter or re-purposed somehow. Add to your vintage advertising tin collection and be the envy of all peanut butter lovers!
