The bars, labrets, and balls are very smooth, and the metal tends to buff and become extremely slippery. If you find your fingers are slipping and just spinning around the ball, some suggest trying putting on a pair of rubber gloves or latex gloves. If you don’t have any gloves, tissue, or piece of textured material can be used as a buffer between your finger and metal ball and bar as long as it can provide additional grip.

Cute style and I really loved the look of it in my septum but it wasn't comfortable overtime as I hoped it would be. It could be a reaction or a sizing issue on my part. I would shop again but might go for a bigger size for my nose type.
