Review by Parker Ragain Transportation Safety
As a long-time viewer and fan of the legendary EV pioneer Jack Rickard, and his original Friday show. EVTV is truly a work of EV history. In his book Richard Flentge, a Jack Rickard protégé and co-host weaves together the early days of reporting on Tesla and shop stories creating a magical show of EV technology. The book is both entertaining and informative. Jack Rickard’s influence on this book is undeniable, and Flentge pays tribute to his mentor in a way that is heartfelt and authentic throughout. He truly knew the man.
With deep technical expertise and journalistic skills, he sheds light on the historic gaps in the evolution of electric vehicles and its lithium battery, then points the reader to the future way to go/ All electric! This book is not only an entertaining read, but also a valuable reference manual for anyone interested in transportation history and future of the “battery on wheels”.
Glad to see it had a lighter side with shop stories, cats, and Tesla jokes, and of course no EV book would be complete without Elon Musk quotes, what fun!
Whether you’re an EV enthusiast or just curious about this exciting new technology, Verities of an Electric Mule is a must-read. So buckle up and get ready for an electrifying journey through the world of electric vehicles!
