The World of Ants: The various species--how they live, work, and communicate within their colonies by G. Collins Wheat, illustrated with photographs and drawings by Eric Mose.

Published by Golden Press in 1959, from the "Golden Library of Knowledge".

56 pages / 6.75 x 8 x .4 inches / 17 x 20 x 1 centimeters

Please see the images above for an accurate representation of what the book looks like, but...

Tons of wear to the cover and spine. The front cover was taped on with a piece of very old tape. When I opened the book, the old / crackly / dry tape gave out, so now the cover is unattached. All the pages are still firmly attached to the spine, as is the back cover. You can retape the front cover if you wish, or just discard it.

Writing in pencil inside of the front cover. The pages have yellowed with age. Scribbling on the title page. More writing in pencil inside of the back cover.
