Pike Flies: The articulated Pike Rattler is tied using a 35mm or 55mm shank with a Gamakatsu SL12S #1/0 hook or Gamakatsu #2 Stinger Hook. What makes this pattern unique is the drop-rattle tied on the underside of the streamer. The rattle is built with a piece of 50 lbs test monofilament and three beads, two glass and one brass. The rattle emits a distinct sound as the streamer is stripped through the water and the beads slide into each other. The sound of this rattle is a pike magnet that they’ll come looking for. In addition to the rattle, the streamer is tied with a mylar under-wrap , two colors of zonker strips, a soft hackle collar, and #6 fish mask.

Each has a color combination and action that will catch the attention of hungry pike as they hunt the shallows or lurk around weed beds looking for an easy meal.

Each order is for one (1) fly.

Pike Rattlers also come with their own 5.5” 30lbs Bite Wire leader that won't be cut by a pike’s sharp teeth!
