Here is a General Electric oscillating fan in hunter green. We estimate it to be from the early 1900's. It measures about 13" across the grill and is about 17" tall. The blades are brass, even though they are painted green (magnets do not stick to them). It has some tiny rust spots on the base, and on the handle there is a little spot of white paint, but overall, it is in great condition. It works great, too! Darryl plugged it in (against my better judgement) and it ran quietly and smoothy. It oscillated and everything! Now, I wouldn't recommend that anyone use this prior to replacing the cord (or at least taping it) because, as you can see in picture 4, it is frayed at the base (which is why I thought Darryl should not plug it in). It is extremely heavy and well made. This fan is really neat and is a great conversation piece!
