I really wish that we knew how the real life antikythera mechanism worked because it would've made this product even cooler, but I'm still very happy with just displaying it until humans figure out more about the real life thing and publish their findings in a new issue of Scientific American, or something. I thought I was getting a some what functional replica of the mechanism, but what I got was a one hundred dollar paper weight.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like my product, however, the description is crystal clear about the non-functionality of this replica. It is the first thing I mention. The original Mechanism consists of more than 100 parts and many expensive materials, so it is extremely difficult to build a functional replica for less than a few thousand of dollars.

It was smaller than I expected...I did not pay attention to the provided measurements! It is beautiful and delicate; not operational, definitely for display only! Exactly as described and arrived sooner than I expected!
