❤ Photoshop users have access to all the utilities I used to create this poster which have been grouped into single floating images. The pedigree is a PNG element, but can be resized or cropped smaller as needed. If you dislike something, take it out!
❤ Once printed, this chart can be stored in a tube, or can be tied with ribbon and placed on a shelf or can be custom framed and used as a gift. A fun creation would be to tatter the edges with sandpaper and then rub the frayed edges through a puddle of coffee or tea to make it look hundreds of years old. You can also dip your fingers in the tea and sprinkle it randomly throughout.
❤ This design was specifically designed to be handwritten. Writing in your own hand, or the hand of others, will leave a wonderful legacy for generations to come. I recommend an archival pen and ink and a matte finish. Once completed you can have your poster scanned and reprinted for gifts. Search for poster printing, and scale as needed. Keep in mind the 10-12 Generations are very small boxes so the bigger the better.
❤ For oversized Pedigree Posters: I recommend doing a scaled test print at home by going to PRINT | Print Settings: “8.5x11” or other printable size | Slide document bounds to the desired test section | Select: “Print Selected Area” | Print. You can use this method to practice your handwriting.
❤ Test before you buy! Do a TEST PRINT of the test pages in the preview panel to make sure you can and will use the upper level text boxes. Right click and save, then print.
