sterling silver

Two wonderful brooches by Margot de Taxco of a Dutch boy and girl. Margot was known for her top quality work in designing jewelry and demanding excellence from her silversmiths while living in Taxco, Mexico. Her vision, drive and design skills persisted for many years despite personal tragedies. She was creative and strong, her jewelry today is collected and worn by women all over the world. These two pins are not commonly seen. Marked Margot de Taxco, 5310, Sterling Made in Mexico (on both) and a blurred Eagle mark on the girl. Each is 1-1/2" tall. Condition is very good, tarnish and small scratches from age. Price is for both pins.
