Lupine will transport you to an alpine meadow in seconds. This colorway is inspired by the Lupine flower spread throughout the mountainous American West. It reminds us of hiking adventures at the height of summer over hills and under pine trees.

Lupine is a Poured colorway. The colors range from periwinkle, grape purple, and bright blue with a splash of spring green at the end. It's cool and bright. This skein is hand dyed intentionally to resemble a watercolor painting technique. This means that the purple to blue colors will blend together, and there will be white to lighter areas, especially between the blue and green.

- My Biggest Tip to Using Hand Dyed Yarn -
Alternate skeins in a project to marry their uniqueness together.

Each skein is hand dyed by me using acid dyes, and set with heat and acid. Skeins are washed after setting, but some color may leak in the first wash with a gentle soap. Keep your skeins happy by adding a little white vinegar to your wash. It balances the pH level, and prevents leaking. Like all hand dyed yarn, no two skeins are perfectly alike, but I promise to never send you ugly yarn!

OK I knew this yarn was going to be pretty from the pictures I have seen. But I didn't think it was going to be one of those air gasping reactions...which is what just happened.
