Interactive sculpture with eight MOVING PARTS.

The Principality, ruled by the Royal House of Aline, has long been famous for its fierce warrior class. Not as well known, but equally as important for protecting the boundaries of The Principality is the diplomatic corps. The corps travels far and wide to forge alliances, mediate disputes and mitigate disruptions to the peace.

A powerful tool in the diplomatic corps peace making toolbox is this particularly effective airship. With three powerful steam engines driving 3 four-bladed propellers the vessel is uncommonly fast for its great size; enabling it to get to areas of disruption quickly. The passenger compartment offers a sumptuous meeting room and grand spiral staircase, luxurious overnight guest rooms, a world class kitchen and dining room, and well stocked wine cellar. It is the perfect setting for bringing together opposing parties in a relaxing setting to settle differences.

This fine vessel was constructed in The Principalities largest shipyard in the great industrial city of Zepplandia. This city has a tradition of exceptional craftsmanship and a long history of constructing the finest airships in the sky. The Principality is fortunate to have such an asset in its midsts.

This is a highly detailed, framed wall sculpture. It has 8 moving parts: you can open the passenger compartment door (revealing the spiral staircase), you can open the engine room door, you can turn two of the gears inside the engine room, you can spin all three of the propellers and the flag “waives”.

The frame measures 12 x 10 x 2 inches; the Airship measures 6 x 3.5 x 1.5 inches. The airship is made of: pewter, brass, bonze & nickel silver; the frame is made of: steel, brass, wood & paper.
