Hopefully the pictures best describe this Antique very old Porcelain, Moriage Phoenix~Dragon tea pot with a beautiful bamboo weaved handle. The design and painting are beautiful. I believe it has to be early 20th century or older. It has a wooden base that it sits on and bamboo handle.. It came from an Estate Sale and no information was known about it. There is no makers mark on the bottom but the painting and moriage is stunning. The spout has a red dragon's foot with 5 toes which I understand represents the Imperial dragon of China. There is a small chip in the spout that can be repaired by a ceramic specialist and not positive if the spout should be longer or was broken at one time. . It appears a lid nob may have broken off and been smoothed over but I am not sure of this. Pot is 4 1/4" high and the opening is 4" in diameter and the pot is about 8" long. This is a beautiful collectible piece.

All I know is this is a beautiful Antique Asian Moriage Tea Pot and I have not seen one on line like it. My best guess is it was made in the late 1800's or early 1900's. I would welcome any other information someone might lend to it's possible history and dating.
