Measures:
The size of the hat that is pictured is approximately 17 inches unstretched. To determine if this hat will fit your child, measure the circumference of your baby's head around the widest part of his/her head above the ears. Be sure to have the tape measure snug. You can use a tape measure, but if you don't have one available, use a string or ribbon and then measure that with a ruler.

Preemie - 10 - 12 inch head circumference
0-3 months - 13 to 14 inch head circumference
3-6 months - 14 to 17 inch head circumference
6-12 months - 16 to 19 inch head circumference
Toddler-- 12 months - 3 years - 18 - 20 inch head circumference
Child --- 3 to 8 years 20-21 inch head circumference

Care: Hand wash in warm water, shape and air dry.
