Cupcaaaaake! I love cupcakes! Especially ones with funny faces, lots of icing and a cherry on top! They're so yummy and so adorable. I thought I'd show my admiration for a favorite sugary treat... by creating this fun and funky vintage looking cupcake rag doll. What a mug on this guy, huh?
I fashioned these modern vintage rag dolls in a folk art style to create an aura of days gone by. I scoured flea markets, fabric shops, and even cut up a few of my own garments to find the perfect combination of textiles that make these dolls come alive! Hand made with modern and vintage fabrics, antique buttons and baubles, silly mismatched arms and legs, freeform stitching and hand embroidery, each doll is distressed to look aged, worn and well-loved.... oh, and a little quirky!
Measures 9" high by 8" wide with the longest wonky leg measuring an additional 8.5".
Ships USPS Priority 1-3 day within the continental US.

Finally got around to making her and the pattern was pretty easy to follow! The hardest part was the nose which I messed up a little but I used shaved pastels to add shadows and make it stand out a little more as well as to dirty her up a little bit. Thanks for the pattern, it was fun!
Perfect gift- loved for the fun and whimsy. I had special request for timing of mailing and everything was perfect.
Amazing! I sewed mine by hand and I love how she came out ❤️ wish it specified what glue to use for the head but I struggled with some Elmers glue and got the job done!
This was the biggest garbage I bought. The pattern was an stick figure. Any child could have draw it. I followed the instructions and that was a joke. I end up throwing everything away including the materials I bought because it was all wasted
