Bull's Blood
An older cultivar, known for its sweet, stunningly beautiful dark red-purple tops and remarkable flavor. Leaves very hardy and excellent in salad mix. Dark red roots of good sweetness and quality. For salad mix, directly sow very thickly and cut in about 28 days. Should regrow for another cutting if kept moist and well fertilized. Tops 35 days, roots 55 days.

Detroit Dark Red
59-70 Days. Biennial Heirloom. This is a fine mid-season variety with a rich, dark-red interior and uniform 3" shape. An early variety, Detroit Dark Red beets store well and are also good for canning and freezing. The dark-green leaves, striped with red, are wonderful braised or in salads.

Early Wonder Tall Top
48-60 days. Tall vigorous dark-green, 20 to 18 inch tops tinged with maroon, excellent for greens. Used as a first early variety of beet for mid-summer sowing and storage. The glossy green, red-veined tops can be Collected for salads as it grows. Dark purplish-red 3 inches flattened globe bunching beet for home gardens. A good all-around beetroot that also pickles well and stores in the ground over winter.

Golden Detroit
55 days. Golden Detroit Beet round, orange roots stays gold-yellow when cooked and has a very sweet taste even when large. A beautiful beet that won't bleed like red beets. Same texture and flavor as red beets without the red juice. The greens are very tasty too. Good bolt resistance and stores well.

Cylindra
59-70 Days. Cylindrical shaped, dark red roots, 5 to 8 inches long and 2 inches thick. Sweet, tender, very easy to grow and great for slicing. The leaves of this beet are a little sweeter than other beets and are very nice as salad greens. Produces more in the same space. Perfect for container gardening or raised beds.

All our garden seeds are hand selected and packaged in resealable airtight bags (each bag is individually labeled), and for the current growing season. Varietal information, growing tips, and germination test are printed on the seed packet.

Our seeds are sourced from local growers, (no cheap Chinese seed here), and are grown using natural methods, no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides are used. We stand behind the quality of our seed. All our garden seeds are heirloom, open-pollinated, naturally grown, and Non-GMO. I have signed the "Safe Seed Pledge" and I do not sell GMO seeds.

The buyer/grower is responsible to plant seeds in the proper conditions. We are not responsible for return shipping costs. We are in no way responsible for crop failures, insects, disease, floods, drought, terrorism, and acts of God.

Additional policies

WE HAVE SIGNED THE SAFE SEED PLEDGE:

"Agriculture and seeds provide the basis upon which our lives depend. We must protect this foundation as a safe and genetically stable source for future generations. For the benefit of all farmers, gardeners, and consumers who want an alternative,
We pledge that we do not knowingly buy or sell genetically engineered seeds or plants.
The mechanical transfer of genetic material outside of natural reproductive methods and between genera, families or kingdoms, poses great biological risks as well as economic, political, and cultural threats. We feel that genetically engineered varieties have been insufficiently tested prior to public release. More research and testing is necessary to further assess the potential risks of genetically engineered seeds. Further, we wish to support agricultural progress that leads to healthier soils, genetically diverse agricultural ecosystems and ultimately healthy people and communities."

All of our seed is naturally grown, heirloom, open-pollinated. None of our seed is a GMO or from Monsanto.
