Vintage condition: very good vintage condition for the front sides; under magnifier very slight verdigris on back sides visible; also slight wear to the plating on clips and some verdigris around the hinges of both clips

A wonderful pair of earrings by the fashion house Lanvin in Paris. The earrings are made of gilded metal and have an oval shape. Each earring is set with a magnificent "faux lapis lazuli" art glass cabochon. The metal edges surrounding the cabochons are triple ridged. The back sides are textured; clips in good working condition. Marked "Lanvin Germany" in a raised rectangle on the back side of both earrings. These earrings in Egyptian Revival style date probably to the 1980s and are manufactured by Henkel & Grossé, a German manufacturer who made high quality costume jewelry, amongst others for French fashion houses like Lanvin and Dior. Very good vintage condition for the front sides; under magnifier very slight verdigris on back sides visible and also around the hinges of both clips.
