Description

This listing is for the PDF of a crochet pattern to make your own Ice Cream Scoop Hair Clips, and not an actual, finished hair clip.

I have been selling these as finished items in my shop for a few years, and now I'm sharing my pattern with you! They are very eye-catching hair pieces. One time I was hanging out at a bar, and girls kept coming up to me and asking where I bought my "hat." They would make super fun presents for people who love their ice cream!

I would say that you should be an advanced-beginner and be fairly familiar with reading crochet patterns and working in the round. You really only need to know how to single crochet (sc) and half double crochet (hdc) to turn your head into a hot fudge sundae!

Edit as of 3/8/13: I'm trying something a little different with the pattern formatting. There's a small table of contents on the cover page, so you know which pages to print if you just want to print out the pattern itself. I formatted the pattern into columns to save space and paper, which meant the photos shrunk down a bit, so then I added back in larger versions of the photos on the last pages of the document, in case you wanted them. However, if you just want the pattern instructions, you only have to print out 3 pages.
